The Dairy Game: [29/07/2026] Sunny Library & Reading Wednesday
Hello everyone, it's @dpsalmist247 Samuel here. You are welcome to another interesting episode of my diary session. I would call today a library day, lolz as I spent the most part of my day there. I woke up a few minutes past 6am, said a prayer and did some clean up. Afterwards, I washed the dishes and swept the rooms. when I was done I had a warm bath after which I dressed up for the day. Just before leaving the house, I excitedly had a look at a blender a friend had gifted me at the weekend for the fun of it lol and to make sure it was working perfectly.
On my way out, I went to my favourite "kunu" spot (kunu is a popular homemade local soft drink found in northern Nigeria). I had kunu and buns- I wasn't in the mood to prepare anything this morning so I opted for this which I had as my breakfast before leaving for school.
in school I went to my departmental library to study only to find it locked. I was at a loss as to where to turn because I needed a place to study while charging my devices. On my way out of the department in search of where to go, I called a classmate to say hello and we talked for a while. I explained the situation and he suggested I checked a particular department's library which wasn't so far away. I had not thought of that at all and was glad to oblige.
The library was quieter than I had envisaged and I was glad. I made good progress on my work and was able to charge my devices. I decided I would continue using the place as it was even quieter than that of my department. As time passed I decided to talk a walk to unwind and refresh myself before coming back to continue my work.
When closing hours came, i was glad I'd made the most of the day and gotten a new study place. Back home, I handpicked the overgrown grasses around the house and later visited a friend's mother who lives close by. On my return, it was evening already. I had a warm bath, got in my pyjamas and anticipated a good night sleep after a fulfilling day.
