The Dairy Game: Attending My Neighbours Wife Burial And Attending To Other Things (27-04-2026)
Continuing from the earlier part of my day, after the burial ceremony, I made my way back home feeling a bit tired but satisfied. When I got home, I decided to reach out to my pastor, and during our conversation, he informed me that something needed to be fixed in the church. Due to the heavy rain earlier, the church’s dish receiver had been affected, and it was no longer working properly. This dish is very important because it is used to receive messages for church programs, so it had to be repaired as soon as possible. After hearing this, I quickly took my bath, changed my clothes, and prepared myself to go to the church. When I arrived, I went straight to work on the dish. I carefully checked it and adjusted the polarization correctly to ensure it would function well again. Thankfully, everything went smoothly, and I was able to fix the issue without much difficulty. In fact, it didn’t take me as long as I had expected. I had initially thought it would consume a lot of my time, but I was able to complete everything quickly and efficiently. Later on, my pastor came around to check the work I had done, and he was truly amazed at how fast I fixed it. He appreciated my effort, and that made me feel really happy and proud of myself. I was especially pleased because I had doubted myself at first, but in the end, I proved to myself that I could handle it well. Everything was put in order, and the dish was working perfectly again, leaving both my pastor and me very satisfied.
After I was done fixing the dish at the church, I decided to go out again to attend to another task. A customer had called me to come and fix a changover switch in a house because they were planning to install a new solar system and needed the switch to properly integrate it with their power supply. I went over to the location and took my time to assess the setup before starting the work. I was careful and deliberate in handling the wiring to avoid any mistakes or damage. Step by step, I ensured that everything was correctly connected and properly aligned with the requirements of the solar system. As I progressed, the work began to look neat and well-organized. By the time I finished, the installation was clean, safe, and functioning as it should. The result looked very professional, and the customer was impressed with how well and how quickly the job was done. Seeing their satisfaction made me feel proud of myself, especially because I had taken the time to do it right. In the end, I was paid for the job, and it felt rewarding knowing that my effort and careful work paid off.

When I got back home, I was very hungry and needed something to eat, so I decided to prepare palm oil rice, also known as Nigerian rice. My cousins and my niece were around, and we all worked together. While I stayed around, someone else was in the kitchen preparing and getting the ingredients ready, and I went ahead to boil the rice. After that, I joined in to continue the cooking. Along the way, we realized the onions we had were not enough, so my aunt had to step out to buy more. While she was gone, I also went around to look for scent leaves since they are important for the meal. Later, I remembered that I had forgotten to buy an egg for myself, so we had to get one. Before my aunt returned, the food was already ready. I quickly boiled my egg, and we all sat down to eat together. The food turned out nice, although it tasted a bit salty, but everyone still said it was okay and enjoyed it. After eating, I felt satisfied and relaxed. I later went to shower and then rested for the day, feeling tired but happy that everything went well.
