The Diary geme [06/07/2026] A Morning Lost in the Lap of Nature
Hello steemians
Today's morning started with a different kind of disappointment. As a Brazil supporter, waking up to see that my favorite team couldn't achieve the
desired result truly broke my heart. Football isn't just a game; it's a huge part of our emotion, love, and feelings. And such a result from that emotionally attached team made the day a bit gloomy.
The most painful part was seeing our favorite star, Neymar Jr., back on the pitch after a very long time, but even his return couldn't bring the expected joy today. While his presence sparked new hope among fans, the match result didn't let that happiness become whole. What could be a more disappointing moment than this for a Brazil fan! Just as Neymar's return to the field was good news, the team's result completely overshadowed it.
That is the beauty of football—a single match, a loss, or an unfulfilled expectation can ruin your mood in an instant. Today's morning was exactly that kind of morning. Nevertheless, I hope Brazil bounces back quickly and delivers much better performances in the future.
Like every other day after the game, I went out for a little walk today. The surroundings were filled with the serene vibe of the monsoon, the scent of the earth, and a different kind of natural beauty. While walking, I suddenly noticed a few people catching fish. The scene was so beautiful that I couldn't resist capturing the moment on camera.
The joy of fishing during the monsoon is truly unique. During this season, rivers, canals, and floodplains overflow with water, and various species of fish drift in with the current. This natural scenery brings the timeless, familiar face of rural Bengal forward in a fresh way. Fishing isn't just a task; for many, it's a hobby, a source of joy, and a piece of memory.
Only those who have waded into the water or cast a net on a monsoon day know how special this feeling is. When the silver flash of fish appears in the net at the end of fishing, even the exhaustion of hard work turns into pure joy.
Today's little scene reminded me of how extraordinary nature's beauty and the simple life of the village can be. That's why I just had to press the camera shutter to preserve this moment in the pages of my memory.
Monsoon, nature, and fishing—the true beauty of rural Bengal lies hidden in the harmony of these three.
