The Diary Game: 7th July, 2026. A Beautiful Day, A Little Makeup & A Pink Phone Case I Couldn't Resist

Hello everyone

My name is Tule. I write about my daily life, and somehow, you've found yourself reading today's chapter. Welcome to my diary🧕
I woke up this morning feeling unusually happy. I honestly don't know why, but I was in such a good mood from the moment I opened my eyes.
After saying my morning prayers and doing my Bible study, I proceed with my usual morning routine. The first task was getting my little nephew ready for school. I prepared his breakfast, watched him finish eating, and then took him to school.
Once I dropped him off, I came back home and started cleaning and arranging the house. One thing I absolutely love about school days is the peace and quiet after he's gone to school😂 I can clean and arrange everything without anyone following behind me to scatter it again. But weekends? Ahhh... that's another story entirely. As I'm arranging one corner, my little nephew is already turning another place upside down. It can be so stressful.
After finishing all my house chores, I suddenly started craving Indomie noodles with egg. The craving was too strong to ignore, so I quickly went into the kitchen and prepared a delicious plate for myself. It was exactly what I needed.
After eating, I took my bath because I had plans to step out. Nothing too serious I only wanted to visit a friend and also buy a new phone case for my big sister.
Before leaving, something funny happened. 😂 Out of nowhere, I decided to wear a little makeup. Mind you, I'm not a makeup girl at all! I simply borrowed a few makeup items from my big sister, applied just a little, and... wow I was honestly surprised by how different I looked. I couldn't stop admiring myself. I felt so beautiful🤭

When I came outside, I was waiting to take an Okada, but luckily one of my friends passed by on her bike and offered to drop me off. Honestly, I was so happy because bike transportation has become really expensive these days. That free ride saved me some money.

I finally arrived at my friend's place, and she welcomed me warmly. We spent some time chatting and catching up before I remembered I still needed to buy something for my big sister. After saying goodbye, I headed out. While walking around, I stopped at a phone accessories shop, and immediately my eyes landed on this cute pink phone case. It was literally love at first sight 😁 I couldn't resist buying it, especially because I knew my big sister would love it too. The best part, It cost me just ₦3,500, which I think was a really good price.

Since I was already outside, I decided to stop at my favorite shawarma spot because that was the only thing I had an appetite for that evening. When I got back home, I had a refreshing shower, enjoyed my delicious shawarma, and spent the rest of the evening relaxing while reflecting on what turned out to be such a peaceful and beautiful day.

Not every day has to be filled with big events to become memorable. Sometimes, it's the little things—a good mood, free transportation, spending time with a friend, finding something beautiful to buy, and enjoying your favorite food—that make a day truly special.
