Basilica of Sant'Andrea delle Fratte, Rome, Italy

Hello everyone! I am delighted to share, once again, part of my experience visiting Rome last October. Today's journey takes us to the Basilica of Sant'Andrea delle Fratte (Saint Andrew of the Thickets); the best part about discovering it is that it wasn't a planned stop on our itinerary—it was simply one of the surprises we stumbled upon while wandering the narrow streets of Rome. My wife, our two friends, and I were walking from the Trevi Fountain toward the Spanish Steps, but along the way, we were reading about and photographing everything that caught our eye—and that is when this Catholic basilica appeared right before us.
