Explore With Me : An Enchanted Garden

Hello everyone!

Today I wanted to share with you a very special place, a place that after 5 years I still find myself thinking about, an enchanted garden.

The Giardini Margherita is located in the beautiful city Bologna and considered as city’s main public park. Designed to provide the city a public green space by Piedmontes Sambuy in 1879.
It is a 26 hectares garden with tree lined running paths, a small lake with sprinklers, wide lawns.

Getting to the Giardini Margherita is easy, just one bus from the city center. When you walk through the beautiful iron gates of the park, you are in heaven! It feels like a corner away from rest of the world.

There are several cafes where you can drink your coffee while enjoying the great lake view. During warmer months, at nights you can find many people enjoying their drinks on wide lawns and dancing in the cafe that turn into a night club.

These photos are from fall however, on spring with its green trees or in winter while covered with snow, the garden is beautiful in every season.

Join the people running, walking their dog, drinking coffee in the cafes with a lake view. Giardini Margherita is a place to see if you are visiting Bologna.
