A Loop Around La Copita
Loop Around La Copita. Our city, Cumana, the “Firstborn of the Continent” has countless plazas and roundabouts; the latter serves as the convergence point for many streets and avenues. Furthermore, one of the things I like most about these places is that they feature abundant vegetation, especially large trees that protect us from the sun and, of course, help provide the oxygen we need.
On this occasion, we took a tour of one of the city's most iconic roundabouts: La Copita. There's a very peculiar situation here: this roundabout is called the “Student Roundabout,” while the Benigno Rodríguez Bruzual Roundabout is usually referred to as “La Copita”—both out of tradition and because it's close to the La Copita Business Center. But anyway, the fact is that both roundabouts are very close to each other, and today we're here to shed light on the real La Copita Roundabout.

I'm curious to know more about the significance of the name "Student Roundabout" - are there any notable student landmarks or institutions nearby that contributed to this nickname? 📚💚
