Dolmens listed by the UNESCO in Wha Sun Area
Dolmen relics in Wha Sun area was listed by the UNESCO no 997 in 2000.
Dolmens in this area were divided in 2 areas and scattered with tense.
There was an interesting characteristics in the location of the Dolmen.
It was Dolmens were closely related with water.
In other area, e.g. Gochang area, the area of Dolmens was very close with the stream.
The dolmen relic area was distributed along the stream in Wha Sun area, too.
In this post, I’d like to show how dolmens were distributed in this area.
I know that in several places, dolmen have carvings on them. Do these have any significant carvings on them? These ancient artifacts are very much prized the world over, yet, not in the United States. They have, what I consider some amazing ones in the New England part of our country.
I did not realize that Korea has almost one half of the worlds dolmen there.
Very nice post. Thank you for sharing your words and pictures. Go well!
