Gates of the Villa in Baek Wun Dong Garden
What attracted my attention was the gates of the villa in the garden.
There were 3 kinds of gates there.
The first one made me impressive was the small gate connected with the stream.
I don’t think this gate is meaningful in using.
It would have the symbolic meaning to connect houses with Nature, in my view.
Main gate was in the shape of typical style of traditional noble family’s house.
Interesting thing was this gate was stood to the stream and the trees, not to the road.
Third one was the ordinary gate. In my view, this gate was the only one for real usage.
Actually there was an another kind of gate, which was a gate without gate.
I introduced this space between the wall.
The wall in this garden was made to distinguish the villa from Nature not to protect the villa against the threats from outside.

Is this villa located at a forest area? Why it looks so drier than the outside? Sometimes they purposely brought that dry look! Anyway these gates are mostly connected with the nature! So, sometimes it might have a meaning as well! Wonderful photography and you might get amazing and relax time there too!

Round area jungle seems natrul.attracting villa but dry area.Roses,water fountains,street lightsabbat,watering areas should be availed

It's like there is always an extra intentions for these doors really, the door to the stream or the well is really cool I think I also like the space in the wall that's basically another door, I think this sends a message of privacy to the Baek Wun Dong Garden and it's simplicity, amazing shots too.
@slowwalker, I'm most inspiring with those three Gates of the Villa in Baek Wun Dong Garden. Roof styles attracted to my vision. Main gate has typical look. But built up better. Boundary wall pattern gorgeous but seemed more protected and stronger. Garden trees not impressive without leaves. But some part of season would be awesome. Brilliant capture selection.
