A Morning Walk After a Rainy Night
Last night we had a shower and a light storm, leaving the world refreshed under this morning's pale dawn sky. This morning I stepped out in the park in front of my house.
The air crisp and filled with smell coming from mango trees, each breath felt like a cool fresh blessing. The park path, still glistening with puddles,

The fallen leaves crunched softly under my shoes as drops of rain pattered from overhanging leaves. Good that the sun was peaking out of the clouds.
Birds, were singing by the sun's as they trilled their morning music. My mango trees stood sentinel before my house, their broad leaves shining even if the fruits are too small yet, but with promise.
The storm that started last night fell some of the mangoes. The water was visible at walking path and pooling at the base of the trees.

I paused, inhaling the faint, sweet tang of wet earth mingled with the trees' subtle fragrance, hearing a whisper of squirrels running around.
Coming back from the park, where flowers swaying in the breeze, I stopped near my pomegranate tree. A gentle wind moving its branches, scattering a final shower.
No rush in this pleasant weather; time stretched languidly. The mangoes would ripen gold soon, but for now, this quiet vigil felt like abundance itself. Oh, nature's gentle touch after the tempest.
I hope you enjoyed this little piece! If this inspiration strikes your feelings, I'm here to bring more my dear Steemians.
