Talsari beach is one of the popular beaches in India. This beach is situated in Odisha ( Baleswar District), closer to West Bengal & Odisha border, on the bank of Bay of Bengal. It is 10 k.m from Digha, West Bengal.

You can cross the Subarnarekha river bed by walking when it is in low tide ..
Nice golden sand beach with lots of boats...
You can also see red crab if you are lucky.

Red crabs are more shy or scared or just too loathsome for humans. Whenever you try to come closer to them, they immediately run away and hide itself in crab-hole

We went early in the morning and had a nice walk to the beach front. Sunrise is an amazing view from Digha sea beach. The place offers excellent photo opportunities and natural scenic beauty for artists. One can have local breakfast of Muri (puffed Rice) and Ghugni (Spicy pulse material).

Talsari and adjoining Udaypur beach is the best place visit to in "Digha" belt. A nice and quite place. If you know how to ride a two wheeler you can rent one and ride right on this vast beach. If you can't ride, you can sit pillion to one of the local guide. The Mohana region is something of a beauty.
