Exploring the Grand Hall

After leaving the office, I entered the Grand Hall; just from the name, I knew I was about to step into an elegant space, with colonial-style décor rooted in the Rococo period, which preceded the Neoclassical era. Beautifully upholstered furniture was arranged throughout the room; it featured armrests so that women could sit more comfortably in their period dresses. I noticed that the chairs were quite low, as were the tables. Cups and a framed fan on the wall stood out as decorative elements.
