I chopped up the radish already but I have a couple other contenders so I want to take a couple more pics with better perspective and edit them in tomorrow.
I was quite happy with my crops and everyone seems to like the cabbage. Just sold the stuff my family isn't going to use and gonna finish processing the final batch of kimchi later this afternoon.
I'm glad someone noticed my Kikkoman Soy Sauce shirt. I saw it at Walmart and couldn't resist. I haven't bought a printed t-shirt in years.
Ah we have a world champion, radish and cabbage grower!
Now you need to show me how to make kimchi my friend.
We have a nice spicy version that I love here in South Africa called Chakalaka.
But I don't think it has the same health benefits as kimchi, as many here just fry the stuff.
Blessings!
I have made it a few times. Maybe I will put up a better recipe this year. However, trying to get exact measurements will be difficult unless you want to make around 100kg of the stuff which is what I will be doing next weekend.

Okay... those guys are gigantic! Congratulations on a huge huge haul... it's great that they also seem to have survived in good condition as well!
Now, the thing that really caught my eye... I'm totally blown away that you have a Kikkoman Soy Sauce shirt!

What a ginormous cabbage, just beautiful radishes too. I love when the conditions are right for growing great big veggies.
Nice going.
Thanks. Gonna take another radish picture that shows perspective and update soon. Just haven't been home.
