Tuesday's stroll

Last week I told you about visiting a place called Puerto Samariapo.This area is big and includes several smaller communities, which are actually home to different indigenous groups.During our visit, we went to one of these communities, which belonged to the Jivi people.It was about 2 kilometers away from Puerto Samariapo, and I think its name fits perfectly: "El Rincón de Samariapo."

This community is quite far from the port where we were staying.
To get there, we had to walk through the whole town, which isn't very big but still took some time.We also had to cross a river, which was low this time, so it wasn't too hard.Just getting there took at least 30 minutes, and that's when our 2-kilometer journey into the interior started.
