Well I haven't made it out for too many walks lately, too much work! But I made it out today.
I went out to Snowden Acres today, it is where I grow up as a kid, I haven't been down there in almost a year!!

I checked out the backyard of of the house I lived in, which is now over 2 decades ago.

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk tip!

Not sure what filter or edit you used on your photos
@shaunf but your images turned out totally rad-looking
and very autumnal!

What a great walk down memory lane Shaun. How lovely to grow up with the lake so close. Amazing the steps still seem to be sturdy enough to use.
Does any of your family still live there? U&R

nope, they moved out of there 20 years ago as well!!

Lovely nature capture, colours the texture exquisit!

So cool to have things in the area built by your own family and the house reminds me of the Dutch style houses I saw in South Africa.
Lake Huron on your doorstep must have been an amazing place to grow up and to experience.
The ravine looks pretty tricky?

Love the photos and processing, Shaun! resteemed :)

Oh Shaun! What a fantastic place to grow up! You were right on the shores of the lake! Were you allowed to go down there and play on the beach when you were a kid?

yes I was able to wander all over the place around there growing up!!
