Yesterday I didn’t get to the idea I had in Mind. It wasn’t the right time. Today, which was tomorrow yesterday, is the right time. I will be able to “nox’plain” three bits that might be puzzling.
The Rabbit Hole Local. Making all stops.
The theory of Fibonacci mapping.
And, Space Alien Philosophy.

We don’t crawl through Rabbit Holes. We take the train. We call it the Rabbit Hole Local because it makes all stops. You can detrain anytime you like. Period. If you can handle it.
The Fibonacci sequence is, of course infinite. In case you are not familiar with it, or not familiar with it under this name, here’s the skinny. You start with 1, and then add the previous number to get the next number. There is no previous number, so the second number in the sequence is 1. 1+1=2. Now we are off to the races. You can try this at home. We’re going to keep it moving.
Your humble vagabond philosopher is an associative thinker, and in many cases doer. We associate learning with travel, and the dis-covery of new knowledge, with the Fibonacci sequence, and the station stops of the Rabbit Hole Local.
The Rabbit Hole, from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, has become thee iconic archetype for mystery, wonder, and stuff that doesn’t make sense, either because it’s hidden, no longer exists, or never existed. Perhaps the “wabbit hole,” as I like to call it in homage to Bugs Bunny, replaced the spider’s web, which could be a bit more perilous. Besides, girls don’t like spiders. If Alice were tangled up in a spider’s web, Lewis Carroll would have died in obscurity and Humpty Dumpty would have never been immortalized as a eggo-tistical, egg.
When one happens on a new “concept,” new information seems to come rapidly, like the first cluster of the Fibonacci sequence. 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34. All relatively bunched together. Imagine these first 9 steps as kindergarten through 12th grade graduation. The next step is 55. This is university undergrad. The University, presumably has source material that much more dense and obscure. Only a higher ed student would even be interested in.
You not only spend your time searching, reading and in some cases, translating, you must interpret. What was this chronicler attempting to relate, in the context of the times?
You can get off the train now, collect your degree and get a gig making lattes at the local coffee franchise. Or, you can stay onboard to the next stop. 89.
89 is PhD level. There’s very little “new” info in the archives that you haven’t already come across. This is the gap. This is why your boy can scroll through posts about the Fed, Pizzagate, the Plandemic, and CBDCs. There’s very little, “new” (to me), information. The mouths I’ve been listening to for the past decade are still issuing the same warnings, advocating the same strategies, telling the same stories and the same jokes. They are just speaking to a new generation. Many of them, whoa! Are a decade “older” than they were when I started listening to them. They are living memory and first-hand, primary sources, to the 1980s, and earlier.
If you stay on this train, the next stop is 144. It’s not so much the number itself. It’s the distance. To get to this next stop, you might literally have to make a documentary, speak to descendants, make experiments, learn, for example, how some item was made, a thousand years ago. So you were studying how his-story was recorded. You have all this collected knowledge, 90% of which is lost in your mental archive, but something’s missing. You haven’t actually done it. So you make all the necessary arrangements, including speaking some of the language, and you travel to China, to learn how to make paper, the way they made it 5,000 years ago, or whenever paper was made. And while you’re there, you pick up some new knowledge, that not even the most tenured professor knows. But how about this. The knowledge you acquired makes 20 years of past dissertations obsolete. Because previous scholars based their respective theses on a source that got it wrong. Whoa! Landslide.
So that’s what I’m talking about when I blend Fibonacci with Alice’s “wabbit hole.”
Let’s “briefly” go over Space Alien Philosophy.
Most, if not all, western philosophy, poses and ponders the question, “Why are we here?” “Who are we?” And maybe, “What is our purpose.” These questions lead back to an all powerful, usually anthropomorphic, albeit schizophrenic entity, that loves humans.
Vagabond Philosophy, which is slightly different than Space Alien Philosophy, but not much, posits that aliens created humans specifically as a slave species to mine gold. Things got out of hand and despite the cataclysm of circa 10,000 – 12,000 years ago, humans survived and multiplied and to this day are devouring the planet like a swarm of termites.
Our “safe word” is, “if.”
We “assume” that this is true, (like a given in a geometry problem), and ask, how would our outlook, behavior, and philosophy function in such an environment? Does this perspective make more sense, (senses aligning), that the Abrahamic-derived philosophies?
So that’s the name of that tune.
