The woman who cooks food represents that section of society
aadhunik bharat ke shahari aur ardh-shehri ilakon mein subah-subah ek drishya aksar dekhne ko milta hai—ek saje-dhaje thele ke peeche khadi ek mahila, jo puri lagan se garma-garam khana banane mein juti hoti hai। yah mahila keval bhojan nahin banati, balki wah swaavlamban, sahas aur kadi mehnat ki ek ankahi kahani bayan karti hai। thela chalane wali mahila ki dincharya suraj ugne se bahut pehle shuru ho jaati hai। ghar ke kaam niptane ke bad, wah sabji mandi jana, ration jutana aur masalon ko taiyar karne jaise kaam akele ya apne parivar ke sahyog se karti hai। subah 7 ya 8 baje tak uska thela kisi chaurahe, daftar ke bahar ya bazar ke kone mein saj jata hai। dopahar ki chilchilati dhoop ho, kadkadati thand ho ya musladhar barish, wah bina thake grahakon ke liye poha, parathe, kachaudi, chaval-chhole ya ghar jaisa sada khana taiyar karti hai। swad aur swachhta ka bharosa is mahila ke haath ke bane khane mein ek khas baat hoti hai—'man ke haath ka swad'। hotelon aur bade restraan ke mahange aur kritrim bhojan ke mukable, log inke thele par jana pasand karte hain kyonki yahan kam keemat mein saf-suthara aur paushtik bhojan milta hai। wah apne grahakon ko sirf grahak nahin, balki apne parivar ke sadasyon ki tarah manti hai, jisse khane mein ek alag hi apnapan aa jata hai। arthik swatantrata aur samajik badlav aisi mahilayen aksar aarthik tangi, pati ki bimari ya bachchon ki padhai ka kharch uthane ke liye is kshetra mein kadam rakhti han। "unka yah chhota sa thela sirf do waqt ki roti ka jariya nahin hai, balki unki atmanirbharta aur atmasamman ka prateek hai।" nishkarsh thele par bhojan banane wali mahila samaj ke us varg ka pratinidhitva karti hai jo bina kisi shikayat ke desh ki arthvyavastha aur kamkaji logon ki bhookh mitane mein mook yogdaan de raha hai। ve mahila sashaktikaran ki jiti-jagati misaal han। hamen unke is hunar aur jajbe ka samman karna chahiye aur unke kaam ko sarhana deni chahiye।

In modern India's urban and semi-urban areas, a scene is often seen early in the morning—a woman standing behind a decorated cart, diligently preparing hot food. This woman doesn't just cook food, but tells an untold story of self-reliance, courage, and hard work.
The daily routine of a woman who runs a cart begins long before sunrise. After completing household chores, she goes to the vegetable market, gathers groceries, and prepares spices, either alone or with the help of her family. By 7 or 8 a.m., her cart is set up at a crossroads, outside an office, or in a corner of the market. Whether it's the scorching afternoon sun, the bitter cold, or a torrential downpour, she tirelessly prepares poha, parathas, kachoris, rice and chickpeas, or simple home-style meals for her customers.

This woman's homemade food has a special quality—the "taste of a mother's hand." Compared to the expensive and artificial food found in hotels and large restaurants, people prefer visiting her stall because it offers clean and nutritious food at affordable prices. She treats her customers not just as customers but as family members, which adds a unique sense of belonging to the food.
Women who cook on carts represent a segment of society that silently contributes to the country's economy and the hunger of working people without complaint. They are living examples of women's empowerment. We should respect their skills and passion and appreciate their work.
