The chapter drew me in straightaway. I want to know more about Cara and how she unravels, why she is the way she is, if that is even revealed. What rings the most true is Cara's sense of humor. It is present throughout but serves more as a mask, as if she cannot fathom how to interact with other people so instead fakes it with a sense of humor and feigned ennui. I look forward to the next chapter.
