Not that I'll never be in a hurry or impatient ever again... but I'm forever now going to have momentary glimpses of homocide whenever I am... which may help curb that feeling in favour of freedom and less jail time!

That momentary retreat would certainly do a great job. And if practised regularly, could become a good habit.
