I think you should have taken the signals your boyfriend gave you that day a little more seriously. A jealous reaction is one thing, but leaving you alone at the date because of ideas he made up in his head is another.

A very well-told story; however, although you define love as providing security, you don't leave me with a very clear moral. Good job!
