RE: Game of the Neví cover image - part 3 - Viking Visual Art Tutorial
Hi. I'm glad you liked the work. I spent a large part of two days on this project.
Set construction took an hour or two, I would guess. Dealing with the lighting took quite a bit longer, partly because a test render had to be done for each attempt... Sometimes 5 minutes before I could even see if it was going to work.
I did full renders four times this time. The first one (before I started really working on the signs) was fairly short, but once I got the lit signs working, it was about 2 hours per render! (I meant to say that in the article, but forgot.)
Thanks for much for stopping by! I love the support I get from everyone at Curie!
yes, curie is extraordinary to allow us to read articles that perhaps we would never have found!
have you learned all this from self-taught?
I've used tutorials, experimentation and various websites to learn how to use this program. I learn by messing up and then looking for answers. :-)
you are very good, I do not have the patience to try and try again following the instructions of the tutorials !! I prefer a master in the flesh who follows me .-))
Following you now... lol.
