I am a regular meditator and I can empathize with what you felt about the first few days of meditation. In fact I had initially given up meditation after trying the first few times for two or three days!
Also, don't expect too much from meditation, like a lot of people do. It doesn't bring about miracles. All it gives you is a sense of calm and with a calmer mind you can achieve much more. It is as simple as being mindful of the present moment in which you are.
If you do continue with meditation, things will change for the better in all aspects of life, gradually, over the course of time. If you continue it long enough, you will find that you cannot afford to miss a single day of meditation.
Thank you so much for the support and appreciation. Yeah, you are right, meditation works differently for everyone and also, you are right not attaching too much expectations from it is important because when you treat it as a simple exercise to relax, you stop worrying about the results and when you become relaxed, you find it easier to become mindful.
