Today is a meaningful and togetherness-filled day for all of us. Together with the community and the qurban committee, we work together to ensure the success of the qurban animal slaughter, which will then be distributed to local residents. This is a tradition eagerly anticipated each year, especially during Eid al-Adha.

Since early morning, the committee and residents had gathered to prepare everything needed. This included preparing the slaughtering site and equipment, and assigning tasks to ensure the entire process ran smoothly. A sense of togetherness and a spirit of mutual cooperation was palpable among the participants.

After the slaughtering process, carried out in accordance with Islamic law, the event continued with the cutting and packaging of the sacrificial meat. Many residents, from the young to the elderly, helped. Everyone carried out their duties responsibly to ensure the sacrificial meat was properly distributed to the recipients.

For me, the qurban activity is not just about slaughtering an animal and distributing the meat; it also serves as a means to strengthen social ties among residents. Through this activity, we can experience the importance of togetherness, caring, and gratitude for the blessings provided by Allah SWT. Furthermore, qurban also teaches the value of sincerity and sacrifice in helping others.

The moment of distributing the qurban meat is the most joyous part. Seeing residents receive their portions with grateful faces brings a special feeling of emotion and happiness. Hopefully the sacrificial meat that is distributed can provide benefits and happiness for the families who receive it.

I am deeply grateful to have been able to participate in this blessed activity. May this spirit of togetherness and mutual cooperation continue to be fostered within the community and become an act of worship accepted by Allah SWT. Amen.
