Today was a meaningful day for us, the youth of the village. In a spirit of togetherness, we gathered to carry out a community service activity to clean the rice field irrigation canals. Since early morning, the youth had begun arriving, carrying their respective tools such as hoes, machetes, and shovels. Without needing much instruction, we immediately set to work cleaning the irrigation canals, which were beginning to become clogged with weeds, mud, and trash. The atmosphere was lively, with laughter amidst our hard work.
