The spirit of mutual cooperation was once again evident in our village during the thanksgiving ceremony for the election of the new village head, Mr. Saleh. This event took place in the village hall and involved nearly all levels of society, from youth to elders. This moment was not only a celebration, but also a way to strengthen togetherness and a sense of brotherhood among the residents.

Since early morning, residents had begun arriving to participate in the preparations for the event. Young men were seen swiftly setting up tents as gathering places, while others helped set up equipment like chairs and tables. No one stood still; everyone moved according to their respective roles with enthusiasm and sincerity.

One of the key elements of this thanksgiving ceremony is the slaughter of two goats as a gesture of gratitude. This process is carried out collectively, adhering to proper etiquette. Afterward, the women and several young men begin cooking on site. The aroma of the food wafting out adds to the warm and togetherness among the residents.

Cooking is a collaborative effort. Everyone chops ingredients, stirs the food, and prepares the dishes for serving. Everything is done with laughter and jokes, creating a lively and friendly atmosphere. This is clear evidence that the value of mutual cooperation is still deeply rooted in our village.

Once all the dishes were prepared, the event continued with a communal meal. Residents sat in groups, enjoying the prepared dishes with gratitude. The election of Mr. Saleh as the new village head is expected to usher in positive changes for the village going forward. The community support evident at this event is a significant asset for building a more advanced and harmonious village.

For me, this experience was truly memorable. Seeing the togetherness, solidarity, and spirit of mutual cooperation among the residents made me even more proud to be a part of this village. I hope these values ​​will continue to be preserved and become a valuable legacy for future generations.
