Today, I went to Dhaka for important work. While passing beside the Gulistan Flyover, I noticed a busy and interesting place where a pigeon market is held every Friday. To reach this place, people usually travel by local transport, such as a Laguna. I was curious to see this traditional market, so I stopped by and spent some time there. The area was full of activity and excitement. Many people gathered to buy and sell different types of pigeons. There were various beautiful breeds of pigeons, and the sellers were displaying them in cages. The colorful umbrellas, crowded streets, and lively atmosphere made the place look very attractive. I found the pigeon market very unique because it is not just a business place; it is also a meeting place for pigeon lovers. People come here to share their passion, exchange experiences, and enjoy the beauty of different pigeons. The scene was so interesting that I captured a few pictures to keep the memories. It was a wonderful experience to witness such a lively and traditional part of city life in Dhaka.
When I went to Gulistan, the first thing I did was to fix an issue with my mobile phone. My phone cover had become damaged and was no longer suitable for use. The screen protector on my phone was also broken and needed to be replaced. Gulistan is a place where there are many shops for mobile accessories. I visited a nearby mobile accessories shop and found a wide variety of mobile covers and screen protectors. The shop had many different designs and models at reasonable prices. I bought a new mobile cover and protector from that shop. The price was much lower compared to the shops in my local area. I was happy because I got good-quality products at an affordable price. This small shopping experience made my visit to Gulistan more enjoyable. It reminded me that Gulistan is not only a busy place for business but also a great place to find many useful items at reasonable prices.
Paltan is one of the busiest and most well-known areas in Dhaka city. The picture I captured shows the famous four-way intersection of Paltan. This place is always full of movement, people, and different activities throughout the day. Paltan Intersection is a very important location because it connects several major areas of the capital city. On the eastern side of this intersection is the historic Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, one of the most significant religious places in Bangladesh. On the western side is the Bangladesh Secretariat, an important administrative area of the country. The southern side leads towards Gulistan Zero Point, while the northern side connects to the Bijoy Nagar area. This place is very familiar to me because there was a time when I used to travel through this area every day. Many memories are connected with this busy intersection. The roads, buildings, shops, and the daily activities of people make this place a special part of my life. While I was passing through Paltan by rickshaw, I saw this familiar scene and felt nostalgic. The busy roads, city buildings, and everyday life of Dhaka inspired me to take a photo. Capturing this moment reminded me of the old days when this route was a regular part of my daily journey. Paltan is not just a road junction; it is a place that reflects the energy and lifestyle of Dhaka city. This photograph is a small memory of a place that holds many stories and experiences.
Today was my day off, so I decided to visit Dhaka for an important reason. For the last three to four years, I have noticed a small lump under my right arm. After consulting a doctor, I was told that it might be a tumor and that proper treatment was necessary. Because of this concern, I came to Green Homoeo Hall for a medical consultation. I chose this place because I had visited here several times about 15 years ago and had a positive experience. This homoeopathic center is known for its experienced and well-respected doctors. One of the things that impressed me about this place is that there is no separate doctor’s consultation fee; patients only need to pay for the prescribed medicines. When I arrived, I saw many patients waiting for their turn. Everyone was taking a serial number for consultation, and I also took my serial. The environment of the clinic was busy but organized. Many people come here with hope and trust for their treatment. My visit reminded me of my previous experiences and gave me confidence that I had come to a familiar place. I captured this moment in a photo as a memory of my visit. I hope that with proper guidance and treatment, I will get a good result soon. This journey was not just a visit to a clinic; it was also a reminder of the importance of taking care of our health.
After visiting Green Homoeo Hall and completing my doctor’s consultation, I was returning home. While walking along the roadside, I noticed a vegetable seller with a very attractive display of fresh vegetables. The way the vegetables were arranged immediately caught my attention. The seller had decorated his small stall very nicely. All the vegetables were neatly organized, colorful, and looked extremely fresh. There were many different kinds of vegetables available, including green vegetables, carrots, radishes, pumpkins, cucumbers, and many other fresh items. I noticed that there were around 30 to 35 different types of vegetables in the stall. The freshness and beautiful arrangement of the vegetables created a pleasant view. It looked like the seller took great care in keeping his products clean and attractive for customers. Although I liked the vegetables very much, I could not buy them because my home is quite far from that place, and carrying them would be difficult. I liked the scene so much that I asked the vegetable seller for permission and took a photograph as a memory. This small roadside vegetable stall showed me the beauty of everyday life in Dhaka city, where hardworking people bring fresh products and serve the community every day. It was a simple but memorable moment from my journey.
After completing my work in Dhaka, it was time for me to return home. While coming to Dhaka, I traveled by bus and leguna, but on my way back, I decided to go to Kamalapur Railway Station first. Since my home is near Pagla Railway Station, traveling by train is very convenient for me. I reached Kamalapur Railway Station on time and went to the platform for the Narayanganj-bound train. The station was busy with passengers waiting for their trains. I spent some time there enjoying the environment and the activities of the railway station. After waiting for a while, the train arrived at the platform. I got on the train and started my journey towards home. The train journey was comfortable, and I enjoyed the familiar views along the railway route. Finally, I reached home safely and on time. It was a simple but memorable journey. This trip to Dhaka was full of different experiences—from visiting important places, meeting people, and completing my work, to enjoying a peaceful train journey back home. I captured this moment at the railway station as a memory of my day.
