First of all, I went to the kitchen with my daughter and sat at the counter because she loves cooking. Then, I slowly took out all the ingredients and set them on the counter.
Then I take a bowl add in Semolina.I sifted the semolina with the help of a sieve and then added it to the bowl.I added 250 ml of semolina in bowl.
After my daughter add in bowl wheat flour .I also first sieved this with the help of a sieve, then my daughter added it to the bowl.then she mixed in spoon.
Then she add in butter.I melted the butter in the microwave, then when it came to room temperature, my daughter added it to the bowl.Because the first rule of baking is that ingredients needs to be at room temperature.
After that my daughter add sugar in bowl.then mixed all the ingredients.tgen she add 1 tsp of baking powder.and 1tsp vanilla essence.
After that I knead the dough in milk .To make biscuits, it is very important to knead the dough properly, which was a difficult step, impossible for my daughter to do as I did.
When I had prepared the dough well with my hands, I then kept it covered for two hours so that the dough would soften and rise properly.
Now I saw that the dough rose up well, then spread it in the rolling pin, my daughters, cut its round cycles with the help of glass.
Place on a greased baking tray When I placed the biscuits on the tray, my daughter placed edible sesame seeds and a pumping seeds, raisin on top of the biscuits..bake at

Food+ stories
The most important thing about these biscuits is that all the ingredients are commonly available at home. You can make them whenever you like. They are quick and easy to prepare, and the cooking time is very short. I often make these biscuits for evening tea because my child loves them. Homemade biscuits are much healthier than store-bought snacks. Whenever I bake these cookies, they bring back wonderful childhood memories. My mother used to bake a large batch of biscuits and keep them at home. In the evenings, my siblings and I would often go into the kitchen and enjoy a biscuit or two. Now, whenever I make these biscuits, I remember those happy days of my childhood. Today, my own child enjoys them with the same excitement. As a mother, I always try to provide healthy and nutritious food for my children. These biscuits contain flour, semolina, butter, and nuts, which are important for the healthy growth and development of children.
What's your opinion about kids to help in cooking?
---
Children should definitely be encouraged to help in the kitchen, but it depends on their age. When children start learning slowly, they can be given small and simple tasks such as making tea, preparing a drink, or boiling eggs under supervision. Parents should not put too much burden on young children. However, when they reach their teenage years, it is important to teach them cooking skills so that they can become more independent and confident in managing daily life.
What Precautions should be made when kids are in kitchen with you?
---
The first and most important thing is to consider the child's age. If the child is very young, never leave them alone in the kitchen and always keep them under supervision. Keep the stove, oven, and hot pots out of their reach. Matches and lighters should also be stored in a safe place where children cannot access them. Similarly, knives, cutters, and other sharp tools should be kept away from children.
If the child is older and helping with tasks such as cutting fruits or vegetables, guide them carefully and teach them how to use kitchen tools safely. Children should be encouraged to wash their hands before and after cooking. It is also the responsibility of parents to teach children the importance of cleanliness and good kitchen hygiene habits.

MashaAllah! The experience of involving children in cooking and involving them in small tasks is quite wonderful. You have written the entire process and each step of making semolina and flour biscuits very nicely. You have mentioned very well the basic rules of baking, such as bringing butter to room temperature or preparing biscuit dough in the right way. The decision to let the little girl decorate the biscuits with sesame seeds, sweet pumpkin seeds, and raisins was a good one—she enjoyed it as much as she did not have to go through any dangerous work. In my opinion, the joy of bringing back to your child the feeling of food prepared by a mother in childhood is different. Homemade nutritious biscuits like this are much more beneficial for children's health than processed food bought from the market. I agree with what you said about children's safety in the kitchen. Every parent should keep these precautions in mind, such as dividing the work based on age and keeping them away from sharp or hot objects. Thank you for sharing your life memories and a wonderful recipe. Best wishes to you in this competition. 😊
Thank you so much
