Tell us why you make this recipe specially when you or someone is sick at home? |
|---|
Today, when I made the food, Alhamdulillah, everyone was healthy at home; no one was sick. I made the recipe just to participate in the Steemit Challenge.
However, I can remember the last 6 months when my two children and my wife were infected with chickenpox. At that time, they had no appetite. They could not eat any food. Then I made this kind of khichuri for everyone. I saw that they enthusiastically accepted the taste of khichuri.
Share memories what your mother did make for you when you sick? Any special drink that make you perfect. |
|---|
May Allah grant my mother heaven. She has gone to the afterlife. Her love and affection for me were incomparable. Even though I was slightly sick, her worries were endless. There was no end to how to make me healthy.
When I was sick, I used to suffer from apathy. I had no interest in food. Then my mother used to make thin khichuri for me, sometimes adding pieces of chicken meat, sometimes mixed vegetables, or sometimes pigeon meat to the khichuri and serving it hot.
Besides, she used to give me lemon juice a lot. There was a lemon tree at home; she always used to make lemon juice from that tree.
Present your recipe beautifully with your name card with date. |
|---|
Now I will present the healthy khichuri I made and mention some steps of the presentation below.
Now I am submitting two comment links where I visited and commented
I invite three of my friends to join the challenge

When you feel bad about your mouth during illness, soft khichuri made with rice, pulses, and vegetables is a truly wonderful dish. The way you have prepared the khichuri by adding papaya and carrots along with moong and lentils is a nutritious recipe that is tasty as well as easy to digest. Reading about your family's experience during chickenpox, I understood how much this simple dish played a comforting role during the days of bad taste. Also, the part about the memory of the thin khichuri and fresh lemon sorbet made by your late mother is quite emotional. I think that such care and taste of cooking by a mother's loving hands during illness acts as the real diet for a speedy recovery. The clear description of each step has made the recipe quite easy to understand. Best wishes to you in this contest. 😊
