RE: SLC33-W1: My Community, My Story – A Need to Know Place Around Me
After reading this entire experience of Malibu Coco Beach, what struck me most was the combination of modern tourism with history and nature. We usually think of beaches as just sandy shores and seawater, but the concept behind this resort in Ghar El Melh—especially the wooden cabins on the water and the hanging hammocks—has taken the entire beach travel experience to another level. I think the real beauty of this place is not limited to its crystal-clear water or excellent seafood, but rather the historical context behind it has enriched it even more. It is truly wonderful that such a sustainable and eco-friendly tourism center has been developed near a former Ottoman naval base. The photos taken from horseback riding on the beach in the afternoon or boat trips at sunset have captured the calm and serene nature of the entire environment. This is not just a travel story but a perfect document of getting completely disconnected from busy life and getting closer to nature. Best of luck to you in this contest. 😊
