The weaker prescription was the way to go once your eyes had 'settled'. But why then the move to increase the prescription? Which as you say, took time for you to adjust. Sounds like the eyes were straining.

The key here is taking control of the prescription and the magic spell they hold over us is making us believe they are the only ones who can accurately measure it with their fancy machines. I will teach you in the next film how we can do this at home with zero budget.
